We put up two trees this year. We put up the big one upstairs with all the formal, traditional decorations. Then we put up one downstairs with all our ornaments Cori and I have had since we were small kids. The kids had some ornaments that they brought with them when they moved here, and it was very cool to see them reminisce about when they got them and from whom. The holidays will always be hard for them, but I think having and putting up ornaments from their previous homes was good for them.
