Our little man turned 8!! We celebrated with a balloon wall outside his room-and I'm pretty sure Cori and I had more fun with it than Paul. Paul has grown so much in the last year! He's lost several teeth, gained weight and gotten taller. But more importantly, he's matured in so many ways. He can handle disappointment and frustration these days, his sense of humor is coming out, and he has started to initiate affection with us! He kissed me on the cheek for the first time on Thanksgiving, and since then he's just blossomed. He can read fluently above his grade level, his writing is improving, his vocabulary is expanding exponentially, and you can tell that it everything at school just "clicked" for him and he has taken off! We are so proud of him and love his silly, cuddly self more than we can say!
